Johnstone and Reimer was founded in July 2015 by Paul Johnstone and Joshua Reimer, with a vision to provide practical, compassionate, and affordable legal advice and representation. This down to earth approach to law has resonated in the community, and the firm has grown rapidly since to meet the demand.
In order to help meet this demand for quality legal services in the community, Alexandra Hale joined the team in June 2016 and became a co-owner with Paul and Joshua in December 2017, bringing her strong skills in staff mentoring and business management to the firm.

While the firm has developed a number of core practice areas over the years, the underlying themes of care, compassion, and support for clients going through difficult times remains at the centre of everything the firm does.
Today, the firm employs more than 50 dedicated staff, all seeking to uphold these original core values which have made the firm successful.
While Johnstone and Reimer’s main office is located in the leafy green end of Lilydale, on the edge of Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs, the firm has grown to also operate busy offices in Berwick, Reservoir, and the Melbourne CBD.
