Paul studied Law and Commerce at the University of Melbourne and after graduating worked in banking and then retail for more than 20 years before changing direction at the end of 2006. Paul returned to the University for further study in 2007 and was admitted to practice Law in 2008.
Since then, Paul has practiced as a solicitor in a variety of legal areas, including Family Law, Criminal Law, Intervention Orders, Wills and Estates, Corporate Governance and Trade Practices Law, and Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal matters, practicing in Ringwood and the city with colleagues including Joshua Reimer, with whom Paul now joins to form Johnstone and Reimer Lawyers.
Paul’s diverse business and life experience over many years brings valuable insight when assisting his legal clients.
When he isn’t practicing Law, Paul is spending time with his family, reading books, listening to music (supporter of community radio), taming the garden and barracking for Warrandyte in the EFL (and Melbourne in the AFL).
