Arthur graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Music and Diploma of Languages (Indonesian) after which he completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law. Arthur is admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.
Arthur has developed a broad professional background that has included overseas policy work in Indonesia and experience at several boutique Melbourne law firms. Arthur has previously volunteered with the Family Law Assistance Program at the Monash-Oakleigh Legal Service. Arthur joined Johnstone and Reimer in March 2017.
Arthur has primarily practiced in Family Law since his admission, but has also assisted with property and child support disputes. Arthur has a special interest in international child abduction and in the voice of children in family law proceedings.
Arthur has a strong ethos of care for his clients whilst assisting them through difficult personal circumstances. Arthur has a strong interest in languages and cultural issues, which allows him to assist clients from multi-cultural backgrounds with clarity and sensitivity.
Away from the law, Arthur is an accomplished concert pianist.
